The key stages of our evolution

Our story began in 2005 with a daring bet: to reinvent our business to become a leader in sectors that are both exciting and stimulating, those of energy. Since then, we have set out this path with determination, and every day, thanks to the commitment and talent of our teams, we continue this adventure, which is constantly evolving.

Creation of the Vulcain Engineering group.

2014

Entry into the capital of NiXEN and Initiative & Finance.

2015

Alban Guilloteau and Frédéric Grard take over the management of the group, marking the start of a new era with the opening of shareholding to employees and the launch of the “Energize 2019" plan: an ambitious roadmap to develop our expertise in the sectors of Health, Life Sciences, Life Sciences, Railway Infrastructure, Nuclear and Renewable Energies.

2016

The Vulcain group has reached the threshold of 1000 employees.

2018

Equistone Partners Europe and Sagard join our capital, propelling our international development. We are strengthening our presence in Europe and establishing ourselves in North and South America and the Middle East.

2019

Vulcain Engineering strengthens its leading position by developing its activities in design offices, with an emphasis on technical innovation and digital transformation.

2021

Vulcain Engineering has 6,000 employees and a turnover of 620 million euros. The group is launching a new offer in digital and AI solutions. A consortium composed of Ardian, EMZ, Tikehau Capital, Amundi, Bpifrance and the France Nuclear Fund, managed by Siparex, supports this dynamic.

2023
