Understanding the challenges of global warming and providing concrete and relevant ways to take action is the aim of climate conferences led by internal and external experts within the Vulcain Group.
So this morning, our collaborators listened to and questioned François Gemenne about the role and the way in which the IPCC operates, the prospects for COP 28, the effects of global warming and our responsibility in the face of this phenomenon.
“Global warming is a gradual problem, not a binary one. No action is useless. On the contrary, every action counts and makes a difference. We often tend to reduce our responsibility for actions to the supposed share we make in global greenhouse gas emissions. But the challenge is not so much to “do your part”, rather to ask yourself what is tu responsibility for the future.” François Gemenne
Thank you to all our employees for their presence and active participation in this event and thanks to François Gemenne for his invitation to put our energy together at the service of the climate challenge, to make the fight against global warming a subject that brings people together.
