For a week, our sponsors and relays thus met nearly 350 middle school and high school girls, in France and abroad, and were committed, with conviction and sincerity, to:
- Raise their awareness to scientific and technological careers, through their testimonies
- Inform them on the variety of jobs and training paths leading to engineering jobs
- Encouraging vocationsfor jobs of the future in industry, sources of technological innovation, and necessary for the renewal and sustainability of our industrial equipment in its entirety
- Deconstructing preconceived ideas, stereotypes and obstacles by showing that women have a place in industrial jobs
They bear witness to:
Timothée, business engineer: “I worked with a 3rd grade class, at the beginning it was not easy to interest them, but by asking them questions I managed to arouse their curiosity and the exchange took place. I am delighted with this experience and hope to have succeeded in convincing these young girls of the diversity of jobs in the industry.”
Margaux, Recruitment Manager: “Working within the framework of the Elles Bougent association via your company with high school girls is a great opportunity to discuss with young girls about their future! Taking an interest in them through their professional desires, trying to guide them and make them aware that they have their full place and their legitimacy in the engineering professions is a very good experience that I had the opportunity to live this week. I hope I succeeded in arousing their interest! ”
