background

At the heart of this project, the household waste energy recovery unit is being completely modernized to strengthen its performance and reduce its environmental impact. This initiative, led by a major player in environmental engineering, aims to integrate new equipment such as more efficient boilers and state-of-the-art smoke treatment systems.

The main challenge is to coordinate these installations within an infrastructure that is already in service, requiring careful planning and careful management of the interfaces between existing and new equipment. The work also focuses on optimizing processes, in order to increase energy production while complying with current environmental and safety standards. In this complex technical environment, Vulcain Engineering's mission is divided into several components, from general installation studies and site supervision, to the supervision of the solutions selected in terms of performance and sustainability.

This global approach places the safety of operators, the reliability of systems and the respect of deadlines at the forefront, thus contributing to a concrete energy transition in the field of waste recovery.

Customer needs

The client was looking for an engineering partner who could conduct technical studies and oversee the integration of new equipment, such as high-performance boilers and smoke treatment devices. The main difficulty lay in bringing a site already in operation into compliance, where the continuity of operations had to be maintained. Optimizing energy efficiency, ensuring safety and maintaining environmental standards were among the key priorities at each stage of the project.
