background

In a context where risk prevention is crucial to protect health, safety and the environment, the pharmaceutical company has a system for monitoring investments. This project aims to integrate all applicable EHS requirements and recommendations — whether they result from French regulations, installations classified for environmental protection or internal standards and guides — into any new investment project, whether it is a new activity or a modification of an existing activity.

The approach is based on the updating of the pharmaceutical group's local EHS tool, allowing effective monitoring and comprehensive documentation of requirements, from planning to receipt. Each project thus benefits from a dedicated action plan, accompanied by risk analysis and regular reporting (weekly and monthly) to monitor the progress of the action plan and the state of compliance. The detailed coverage of EHS aspects, the continuous training of teams and the implementation of internal procedures ensure that all actions taken are in line with French employment law as well as with the high standards of the pharmaceutical group.

Customer needs

The customer provides comprehensive EHS project management that integrates, from the design stage, all the requirements for the prevention of risks of accidents, health and environmental damage. It requires a detailed and centralized solution that allows each investment to be monitored via an up-to-date local EHS tool, thus ensuring compliance with French standards and the pharmaceutical compagny standards. The system should include risk analysis, regular reporting and the implementation of a project-based action plan, in order to ensure total control of EHS aspects throughout the investment life cycle.

Specificity of the mission

The mission is to pilot the integration of EHS requirements into all of the Sanofi Group's investment projects. It is based on the updating and exploitation of the local EHS tool, the application of the requirements of French law and internal standards, as well as the implementation of continuous monitoring via a dedicated action plan per project. Risk analysis and regular reporting ensure proactive management and optimal compliance, guaranteeing the safety of employees, the protection of the environment and the sustainability of investments.
