The local public company UniGeo is launching an ambitious project to supply 14,000 homes with heating and hot water via a geothermal heat network. The project includes the creation of a power plant in Les Lilas, combining geothermal resources and emergency boiler rooms, with execution studies carried out by GTA Energies.

The development of a new geothermal urban network aims to meet sustainable energy demand in several municipalities (Les Lilas, Pré Saint Gervais, Pantin), by providing 180 GWh per year to 14,000 homes. The project is based on the establishment of centralized production, combining a geothermal resource with auxiliary heating systems — including a centralized gas boiler room and decentralized devices — to ensure emergency assistance in case of need.
The mission includes the establishment of detailed execution plans for pipes and supports, carried out in compliance with technical constraints and optimized ergonomics. Modeling calculations under CAESAR II make it possible to optimize the pipes, while the design of the supports is validated according to Eurocodes. This system, developed by ERITHERM with the support of GTA Energies, guarantees compliance with deadlines and specifications, while aiming at an annual reduction of 28,000 tons of CO₂.
The customer expects comprehensive technical support for the installation of an efficient and sustainable geothermal heat network. The solution must ensure compliance with technical constraints while guaranteeing ergonomic and sustainable operation. The project must also contribute to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, while respecting controlled deadlines and providing a detailed and reliable execution file, thus allowing the operator to fully engage in the new installation.
Design implementation plans in accordance with the technical constraints of the network.
Optimize pipe modeling for maximum performance.
Guarantee ergonomic operation and a significant reduction in CO₂.
The mission focuses on carrying out the execution studies for the geothermal power plant, from the planning of the works to the technical validation. It involves the development of detailed pipe plans, pipeline modeling, and support design, while integrating ergonomic requirements for long-term operation. The use of tools such as Autocad and CAESAR II guarantees a rigorous and standards-compliant technical approach, facilitating the deployment of the urban network.
Develop optimized pipe and support execution plans.
Perform technical modeling under CAESAR II for pipes.
Ensure an ergonomic design adapted to the operation of the network.
