background

Faced with the challenges of reliability and performance of the electrical network, this project focuses on strengthening an existing airline near Seville. The work begins with a field visit and an exhaustive topographic survey of the line, followed by modeling under PLS‑CADD to analyze its route. Existing pylons are scanned and modelled in 3D via TOWER, allowing then an in-depth study of the structures, including mechanical calculation relating to the change of conductor as well as resizing analysis. In addition, a comparative study considers underground alternatives to respond to various evolution scenarios.

The project ends with the completion of a detailed engineering file. To carry out these studies, the dedicated team is composed of an activity manager, an engineer and a technician, a topographer associated with a designer and two technicians specialized in modeling, thus guaranteeing optimal technical coverage.

Customer needs

The customer expects from this project a complete mastery of field studies and modeling to guarantee the reinforcement of its electrical line. The intervention should make it possible to identify possible failures, to assess technical options and to present a clear and detailed file facilitating investment decisions. Rigorous monitoring of the study stages and coordination between technical experts are essential to ensure the reliability and durability of the installation.

Specificity of the mission

The mission consists in carrying out all the engineering studies to ensure the strengthening of an airline by integrating advanced modeling and analysis tools. The objective is to precisely identify the technical constraints and to propose viable alternatives (aerial or underground) to guarantee the sustainability of the network. Coordination between the various technical experts and the production of a detailed engineering file are among the key points of this mission.
