background

The SDA (Accessibility Master Plan) and Grand Paris Express projects are part of a global strategy to improve mobility in Île-de-France. They aim to make train stations in Île-de-France accessible to all, especially to people with reduced mobility, while modernising infrastructures in a dense urban context and in continuous operation.

Beneficiary by SNCF, Vulcain provided RLT assistance and the supervision of works on several strategic sites. The challenge: to guarantee works that are compliant, safe and without traffic jams. Our teams supervised the technical interventions, coordinated the actors in the field and implemented management to comply with regulatory and operational requirements. Thanks to a structured approach and a thorough knowledge of the railway environment, we contributed to the success of this sensitive project, which is essential for more inclusive mobility.

Customer needs

SNCF expected a partner capable of managing the complexity of a construction site on an occupied site with millimeter precision. The objective: to guarantee accessible installations, carried out on time and without impacting rail traffic. Vulcain has been able to mobilize field skills, regulatory expertise and an agile organization to meet the challenges of the SDA and GPE, in a highly vigilant environment.
