background

The Villeneuve Demain project, managed by SNCF Voyageurs, represents a major technological challenge: adapting existing rail infrastructures to accommodate new generation rolling stock on lines D and R by 2027. With an ambitious budget of €500 million, this strategic project located in Villeneuve Prairie involves a high level of expertise and technical rigor. Vulcain, a key partner in this project, intervenes to guarantee compliance and quality at each stage, by ensuring complete external control of operations, from civil engineering to complex systems (signaling, energy, telecommunications).

This unique project allows Vulcain employees to develop advanced technical skills while meeting daily challenges related to the numerous interfaces of the project. This achievement contributes directly to the improvement of the daily mobility of thousands of Ile-de-France residents.

Customer needs

SNCF Réseau was looking for a reliable, responsive and technically advanced partner to secure the success of a complex project with high operational challenges. The aim was to obtain a rigorous independent control, guaranteeing both compliance with technical requirements and compliance with safety standards. The client also wanted a team that could communicate effectively and manage the numerous interfaces, while controlling costs and deadlines. Vulcain was able to meet these needs by combining technical excellence and a collaborative approach.
