background

The energy transition requires the rapid and controlled deployment of wind and photovoltaic farms. In this context, Vulcain has been supporting major players in the sector (RWE, Akuo Energy, WPD, TotalEnergies, Engie Green) for several years at all stages of their projects, from earthworks to commissioning, then during the operation and maintenance of installations.

Our teams ensure both EHS management of the site phases (civil engineering, assembly, wiring, connection), coordination with CSPS and local actors, the verification of regulatory compliance and the monitoring of indicators. We also work on environmental issues (protected areas, waste management, waste management, waste monitoring) and provide operational and documentary support during critical phases such as energization. Feedback is systematized in order to optimize future projects.

Customer needs

Contractors are looking for a partner capable of taking charge of all the EHS management of their renewable projects, from construction to maintenance. This implies an ability to apply French regulations, coordinate stakeholders, monitor environmental aspects and secure critical operations. The objective is to guarantee compliance, limit risks and provide continuous expertise, through field support and structuring documentary support.

Specificity of the mission

Vulcain acts as a direct EHS relay for the project owner, by managing on-site safety, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the compliance of operations. The field approach is reinforced by rigorous reporting, active environmental monitoring and technical support during sensitive phases. Vulcain teams also participate in EHS documentary structuring and in the transition between regulatory frameworks, in particular between decrees 94 and 92.
