The south terminal of Orly Airport is the subject of a vast renovation program, as part of the overall modernization approach carried out by the ADP Group. The challenge is to raise standards in terms of comfort, accessibility and safety, while integrating new energy performance requirements. In addition, there is the need to respect specific constraints linked to the continuity of airport operations: passenger flows, security requirements, complex logistics and coactivity with numerous teams. The project involves several trades, from structure and finishing to technical installations.
In this context, the coordination of the various actors is of paramount importance. Rigorous schedules are established to guarantee a harmonious distribution of tasks and a secure cohabitation between the work and the reception of the public. Document management, for its part, must be carried out diligently to maintain a precise vision of each technical evolution, ensure the traceability of decisions and comply with current security standards. By reconciling these different dimensions, the renovation of the southern terminal contributes to improving the experience of travelers, while respecting the constraints of a busy airport.
Groupe ADP was looking for support to manage the renovation of a terminal while maintaining continuous operations. The aim was to manage technical coordination, work planning and the supervision of multiple lots (structure, equipment, finishing work). In addition, document management had to be flawless, guaranteeing the conformity of interventions. Finally, compliance with safety standards and limiting the impact on travelers were top priorities.
Manage a large-scale project while minimizing the impact on passenger flows.
Mastering the technical and regulatory complexity of an airport in service.
Implement strict document management to ensure continuous traceability.
The teams intervene at several levels: interdisciplinary coordination, verification of documentary compliance and supervision of the progress of the construction site. In a sensitive environment such as an airport, safety is a constant priority, leading to the establishment of precise logistical processes to protect travelers and staff. Meeting deadlines is another major challenge, requiring methodical monitoring of schedules and high reactivity in order to adapt to operational constraints.
Supervise the interfaces between structural work, finishing work and technical installations.
Manage coactivity on an occupied site and guarantee optimal safety conditions.
Respect a tight schedule to preserve the operation and image of the airport.
